Twin Barn Shepherd's Huts
Cosy, colourful and chic glamping
Set in the heart of Norfolk, in complete isolation, yet only minutes from Norwich, the Norfolk Broads and the beautiful North Norfolk beaches. The perfect place to hide away from the world, rediscover nature and spend time recharging your energy under the big Norfolk skies.
Our beautifully crafted shepherd's huts offer luxurious boutique accommodation for couples who want peace, quiet and solitude in the stunning countryside of Norfolk.
If you need to bring the children, then Lola is available to accommodate two extra alongside Isabelle.
Private hot tubs are also available to supplement your relaxation in the idyllic location with both Charlotte-Rose and Isabelle. Or maybe you would prefer an optional private sauna, available with Tabitha.
Ideal for self catered holiday accommodation in the heart of Norfolk; an alternative to the traditional B&B or hotel for those needing to be near Norwich for work; or a quirky place to stay for those visiting UEA, the science park or further a field. Whatever your reason to be visiting the area, our shepherd's huts are an ideal place to stay.
There are three huts to choose from: our luxury, romantic two berth shepherd's hut known as 'Charlotte-Rose', decorated with William Morris wallpaper, giving a cosy, romantic feel. Isabelle, designed for two or a family of four, with our refurbished Gypsy Wagon 'Lola' alongside, for two children (or small adults) to sleep in. Isabelle is decorated in a modern, light and fresh colour scheme and can be booked for two, three or four occupants. Or, our rustic but modern style shepherd's hut Tabitha, with a full side of glass overlooking the field for the best views of the sunrise.
Charlotte-Rose is fitted out with all mod cons and beautifully designed, with a comfortable double bed, solid oak wooden floor, butler sink, oven and hob, fridge, wood burner, hot running water, heating and an ensuite shower room.
After a comfortable night's sleep you can have a continental breakfast basket, or for an extra charge, the fridge will be filled with local produce so that you can make yourself a full English breakfast too.
Isabelle has a more modern feel, decorated in light colours with colourful accessories and is more spacious, with space for indoor dining for four. To occupy the children or for snuggling down to an evening film there is a TV/DVD, with a selection of DVDs provided.
Lola, our refurbished Gypsy Wagon is alongside for the children ( or two small adults).
Tabitha is modern in design, with a rustic feel and will accommodate two with a double bed, en-suite shower room, kitchen area, wood burning stove and full glazing at one end overlooking the field. Alongside Tabitha in a horse trailer, is a private, wood-fired sauna which can be booked as an optional extra.

Charlotte-Rose and Tabitha have a wood-burning stove for warming your toes. All our huts have an electric heater, they are fully insulated and have double glazed windows
Isabelle has a TV/DVD
There is plenty of outside space, with external seating with each hut for starlit dining
The ensuite shower room consists of a shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Towels and toiletries are provided.
Each shepherd's hut has a fully equipped kitchen area, no need to bring anything but food (and drink!)
A small/medium dog is welcome for an additional fee of £2/night (one per booking)
PLEASE NOTE - access to all huts is via steps and therefore will not be suitable for people with limited mobility
Although Charlotte-Rose and Tabitha only accommodate two, there is plenty of room on the field for an extra tent to be pitched for an additional charge of £10 per night. Your additional guests would have to share your facilities though. If you are staying in Isabelle you can book Lola for additional accommodation, or bring a tent
Our wood-fired 2 person hot tubs are also available to add to your luxurious, relaxing escape and can be booked as an extra with both Charlotte-Rose and Isabelle. Tabitha has a wood fired sauna available as an optional extra
and also ... Lola
Little Lola is available to hire for additional guests to sleep in, whilst sharing the facilities of Isabelle. Best suited to accommodate young children (or smaller adults <5'10" ). Lola has electric lighting and a heater but is not insulated - hot water bottles are available.
Meet Dylan & Watson
Our resident Working Cocker Spaniels.
Dylan is a 29 month old pup, and is very sociable. He loves to come and say hello and will be your best friend, if you let him.
Watson is 8 1/2 years old. He is less sociable but will do anything for food! Please do not feed them too many treats, they get fed enough at home!
Carbon Offset
Since starting to welcome guests on 7th July 2020, running Charlotte-Rose created 0.597 tonnes of CO2e in the first 6 months. To offset this now and for the future, we have planted a tree (Populus Tremula - Trembling Aspen) on the corner of her pitch.
We have also planted an Acer Saccharinum - Silver Maple next to Isabelle to offset future carbon emissions.
Tabitha has a newly planted tree - a Betula utilis jacquemontii 'Doorenbos' multi stem - Himalayan Silver Birch.
If you would like to offset the emissions of your journey, you can use the carbon emissions calculator below.
